Bill Walsh is a singer songwriter guitarist who in the late 70’s worked with the country rock band Calico playing mostly original music in SF Bay Area clubs. In the 80’s, Billy co-owned and worked at a Bay Area recording studio called Montage Recording. During this time was when the inception of The Rangers occurred, combining the songwriting skills of Billy, along with Mitch Ballard, Matt Twain & Mark Mathias. The Rangers toured extensively throughout the West Coast, performing in many clubs, fairs and the festivals circuit, as well as numerous concert venues. After several years as a solo artist and recording and producing other artists as well, he has been probably most excited to be back where it all began….with the original members of The Rangers, but  with a new excitement & musical maturity as The Sky Kings.

Matt Twain grew up in the studio as a child talent, singing and doing voice-overs for numerous commercials including C&H, Levi's, The Gap, Visa, and many more. After a few years in musical theater performing and musical directing in such productions as Hair, Pippin, Little Shop of Horrors, Cabaret, as well as several plays, he decided that his true calling was playing in bands and recording. He has played in many bands over the years, including being the founding member of Box Set,  which then later morphed into The Fall Risk. He also sits in with Highwater Blues, and is currently recording some tracks and performing periodically with the band Fog Swamp, based in San Francisco. When not performing he enjoys his other creative outlet as a professional graphic designer/contractor.

Julio Reyes  comes from a pedigree lineage, musically speaking. His father, Carlos Reyes senior, was a world renown classical guitarist in Paraguay. Julio’s father served as an inspiration that would help direct Julio to conducting orchestras, writing music, and become a highly celebrated classical guitarist himself. Julio also spends time in Cuba teaching music to young boys and girls who thrive with his direction. In addition, Julio often performs with his older brother Carlos. This is a gifted musician and one of the most sought after bass players in the state.
